“Gallus” is a Scots’ word meaning cheeky, playful and rambunctious which, we think, describes our city to a T. So, come and discover the culture, the architecture and the heritage of our city of a leisurely stroll from beautiful Blythswood Square, through the city centre, and into the east end. On the way, hear about our history down the years as Glasgow grew from a small village to become the largest city in Scotland and earned us the nickname of “The Second City of the Empire”. As we go along we’ll tell you the true story and a LOT of tall tales.
